However, the operating carrier might be accountable for compensations depending on the regulations of the country of flight.

We strongly recommend that all passengers obtain travel insurance that covers such contingencies.

 Passenger eligibility

To ensure a safe and enjoyable journey on RareJet flights, all passengers must meet the following criteria:

  • Age restrictions: The minimum age for unaccompanied travel varies by flight—check specific details during booking. Passengers aged 16–18 traveling alone must provide a signed consent form from a parent or guardian. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. There is no upper age limit.

  • Identification: Present valid government-issued ID, such as a passport, driver's license, or REAL ID-compliant document. For domestic flights, TSA-accepted IDs are required for passengers 18 and older.

  • Visas and entry: Hold any necessary visas or meet destination entry requirements for international flights. RareJet recommends using official tools to verify eligibility.

  • Health and fitness: Be in good physical and mental health to safely participate in the flight. If you have medical conditions (e.g., pregnancy beyond 36 weeks), consult a doctor and inform us in advance for any needed accommodations.

  • Special assistance: Passengers with disabilities or mobility needs are entitled to accommodations under the Air Carrier Access Act, including wheelchair access, service animals, and priority boarding. Contact us to arrange.

  • Prohibited items: Do not carry restricted or dangerous goods, such as weapons, flammable materials, alcohol (except in checked baggage per limits), or illegal substances. Refer to TSA/FAA guidelines for a full list.

  • Contact details: Provide accurate phone and email information for flight updates and health tracing if required by authorities.

Flight confirmation

The flight will be confirmed at the latest two weeks prior departure. If the required amount of participants is not met until 2 weeks before the flight, the flight will be cancelled. To keep the fares as low as possible, about 65-100 % of the aircraft's capacity needs to be filled depending on the aircraft type.

 Flight cancellation

Your flight might be cancelled if the required capacity of 65 % - 100 % is not met or the operating airline cancels the flight due to force majeure circumstances, such as technical problem. In case your flight gets cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund or, if possible, a replacing flight. If you have any problems with your refund, please let us know by filling the Refund form at Refunds page.

Delays

Delays occur every day in aviation.

Regulations on passenger right in the event of delay vary by countries. If the flight gets delayed by more than three hours in the European Union, you may be entitled to a compensation under EU regulation 261/2004. Whereas for example in the US, there are no such regulations, and no compensation might not be given. Please note, that the operating carrier is responsible for the compensations, not RareJet.

For official compensation claims, please contact the operating airline directly. If you have any questions or need assistance with your claim, you are welcome to contact us.

Check-in

Due to the restrictions of charter flights, check-in must be done at the airport. Details about check-in, such as opening and closing times will be presented upon check-in email sent to you after the flight gets confirmed depending on the country's regulations.

Baggage policy

One carry-on bag that fits under the seat is allowed. Additional items are not permitted unless otherwise instructed.

Seat selection

If possible, seat selection can be done for a free of charge upon booking. On flights where seat selection is not possible, seats will be given upon check-in at the airport or a free seating upon boarding is provided.
